Today I again joined one of the batches of Kumarjee School of Photography which was going for an outdoor shoot at Delhi’s famous Chandni Chowk. It has been around three years since I came here for the first time along with a group of photographers and was really amazed at the variety of subjects it props up if you are the one holding a camera. There have been two or three more such outings in these old and beaten lanes of Old Delhi but they always amaze you. The dilapidated buildings with their arched gates tell you the story of a royal past whereas the faces emphasize the struggles of the present day. Every time you visit this place the contrast of its glorious past and a gritty present is gripping.
