This year we have seen one of the coldest winters in some time. For lengthy spells the mercury has chosen to stay low while the sun kept itself hidden. So what do you do on one of these grey and chilly winter days ? One option is to snuggle up and perhaps pick up a show on your favorite OTT channel to binge on. Or you can go to a cozy little café and treat yourself with a cup of hot beverage and cakes which we think are just the companion you need to assuage the winter chill.

So with that in mind we had wandered to our latest go to for an evening hangout – Worldmark Gurgaon. Within an year of its opening this new shopping mall is now thriving with a good choice of cafes and restaurants. The latest one in the list is a very Parisian looking Petite Pie Shop where we walked in.

Styled to give you a vibe of being somewhere near the Eiffel tower this is a beautifully done place. Typical pastel shades intermingling with white and what sounded like French Bossa Nova in the background provided a calming ambience. Just the kind of place we would have liked to be at !

Although I had entered with Hot Chocolate embedded in my head but their delicious and mouthwatering counter had my mind swayed. So for this visit we limited ourselves to their Banoffee Pie and Chocolate Trio. The flavors in both of them were so subtle and with the right amount of sweetness. The chocolate trio had three layers which brilliantly complement each other if had in one single bite. The temptation for going another round of sampling was high but somehow we found the will to stop.

So the reasons we would be going there again are :

  • Its location
  • Its soothing ambience
  • All the other things in their menu we ought to try
